#26 Photoshoot

This morning we had a photoshoot for an upcoming Halloween craft. I was a little nervous because it had been a while since I’d styled and worked with a new photographer, but I think it turned out great! Now here’s hoping they don’t give me any trouble in the layout… 😉

#23 Gifted

Today started off with some big news at work. I’m still not sure if it’s ultimately good, so I’ll have to save that story for another time. However, when I got home, Ryan and I watched Gifted, which we had gotten from Redbox. I really enjoyed it, and I’m thankful Ryan put up with it! 😉

#22 Last Day

Today was our last day at Onset, and we started it at church at the old Tabernacle. We visited with a few people afterward – all who knew me in my childhood, but I’m having to reintroduce myself now! Before packing up to leave, we went for a bowl of chowder at the Lobster Pot and walked along the Canal. All week the weather report said it was supposed to rain, but it was another gorgeous day. Of course I was bummed to drop my mom at the airport, but I drove the rest of the way home with a full, happy heart from a great weekend with some people I love!

#21 Friends & Arcades

Today we met up with one of my favorite friends, Jill, and her boyfriend, Sean. We got together with them last year around the same time (they actually introduced us to the Cliff Walk), so this is turning into a little tradition! I had mentioned that Ryan wanted to find an arcade, so we met up with them in Providence for some Italian food and then Dave & Busters! It was a great night hanging out with a couple that always makes us feel so welcomed. Of course, I didn’t snap a picture, but (assuming our tradition continues) there’s always next year!

#20 Newport

After spending a few hours at the Onset Beach this morning, we drove down to Newport for the evening. The highlight was doing the Cliff Walk with my mom. I love that Ryan shares my love of the water because it makes these trips so much more special! Along the way, I noticed lots of colorful wildflowers, which I picked to make a bouquet for myself!

#17 Catching Up on To Dos

I always have a never-ending to do list of things I randomly think about that I want to get done. I’ve been crossing off a lot of them at work and at home lately so that helps me breathe a little easier.  As I was walking back to the car at Target, I had a moment of gratitude that we are living here. I feel so happy to be more settled than we have been over the past two years. I never would have thought it would happen, but New Jersey is feeling like home.
